Young Chinese Designer Reinvents the Knuckle Ring

Payson Ni just graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and has already been named Young Jeweler of the Year by Bentley & Skinner. Personally, rarely do I see something to inspirational and creative coming out of the jewelry industry. 

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to dig out much information but we have hope! Both the new collection AND the online shop will be coming soon. I personally can't wait to see what else is in store from this young talent. But from the looks of it, these rings (which are of Chinese landscape) will cost and arm and a leg.

Very rarely am I absolutely IN LOVE with fashion show jewelry because they are usually over-the-top and not for the average consumer. But when I saw the shots from the Cavalli show at Paris Fashion Week, I was stunned. I love the colors, the textures and the details and I am sure you will, too!

Reader Submitted Review: Celine Luggage Replica

One of our awesome readers, who would like to remain anonymous, found our blog and decided to submit her own bag review for people in the market for a replica Celine Luggage bag (aka. the hottest IT bag of the season).

Just a note before I start, although I do not condone the purchase of replica designer items, I do understand that people will buy them anyway, regardless of its illegality. I also know that people want to buy authentic bags on sites like Ebay or Souq.com but can't differentiate a replica from an authentic products. This blog post aims to help people avoid getting ripped off, not to promote buying replica designer goods.

"Hi HH,
I came to Dubai for work and decided to do a little shopping on my off-time. I was in the market for a replica wallet and maybe a faux Rolex watch and heard that Dubai has the best selection in the Middle East. So, I asked around and was told to go to K****a market as they have the largest selection. After looking around, I didn't find anything worth buying. In fact, all the items were rather sub-par and you can spot them a mile away. I asked around for some quality bags and a man told me to follow him into the store. I know Dubai is a safe place and they wouldn't mug/kill me so I went with him (I wouldn't recommend doing that in any other city, though!). I walked in to what seems to be the mother-load of replica bags. I mean they had it ALL! Bags, Wallets, iPhone accessories, jewelry, sunglasses and shoes! I've never seen such a huge collection of watches. They had all the designers: Fendi, Chanel, Prada, Celine, just to name a few.

I looked around for what seemed to be hours and finally decided on the Replica Celine Luggage. I was hesitant at first because it was really pricey... $630!!!!! But it was in the "AAA Quality" section of the store and I was assured the snake skin was real. I also got scared because I've never seen this color combos on the Celine website. But I got it because of the leather! It's so smoooooth. I've attached some pictures and wanted your opinion. In all honesty, I've never seen a real Celine so I wouldn't know if I got ripped off or got a good replica. Let me know!"

From the pictures. I can see that the bag is pretty good quality. The leather seems smooth just like the original but I have a few comments:

• From what I can see, the logo seems a bit thiner and longer than the original. Also, the "S" in Paris is bigger than the rest of the letters (much bigger)
• The stitching seems amazing... 100% spot on
• I've asked a friend if the snake skin looks real, and he said yes, it's a dyed Burmese Python. But he won't be able to be sure as he hasn't felt it. If it feels flaky and smooth, then it's most likely real
• The zipper holder is thicker than the real one
